Hello Local Guides,
On 10th August 2025, I had the pleasure of hosting a heritage-focused meet-up at the Husainabad Clock Tower, Lucknow. This landmark is not just any monument — it proudly holds the title of India’s Tallest Clock Tower, standing at an impressive 67 metres (220 ft).
I was delighted to be joined by Mr. Ankit Srivastava, a fellow Local Guide from Lucknow. Together, we explored the Clock Tower and some of its adjacent attractions like Rumi Darwaza and Sheesh Mahal.

The Essence of Lucknow
During the walk, one iconic phrase kept resonating in my heart:
“Muskuraaiye, Aap Lucknow Mein Hai.”
“मुस्कुराइए, आप लखनऊ में हैं।”
“Smile, because you are in Lucknow.”
This famous saying perfectly reflects the city’s warm hospitality, cultural richness, and timeless elegance.
