So today I have successfully conducted the Photo Walk New Alipore Meet-up at New Alipore, Kolkata. I planned to arrive there half an hour before, but due to rain and road conditions, I arrived 5 minutes before this meet-up.
I started walking and found a lot of small shops. When I started searching them one by one, 90 percent of the shops were not listed on Google, so I began adding them.
It was evening when these shops were full of customers, but still, I somehow managed to talk to the shop owners about the problems they face daily, and I started thinking about how I can help them through Google Maps.
I found I LOVE NEW ALIPORE and thought to capture it on my mobile, but it was not easy, as till that time it was dark. After adjusting the focus and camera settings, I was still not able to do that, as it was a busy road, vehicles were continuously passing.
Finally, after 35-40 clicks, I was able to capture the perfect shot. There were so many shops that I wasn’t able to cover in this meet-up; for those, I have to organise another meet-up. I can say that this meet-up was successful.
