This meet-up is arguably the most fun-filled I’ve ever hosted. It kicked off with members of Lagos Local Guides introducing themselves to one another. There after we proceeded to ordering for different flavors of Nigerian foods. Notable among them were ofada rice with plantain, amala with ponmo (i.e. meat) and vegetables, jollof rice with turkey, boiled plantain with vegetables and fish, mashed beans with boiled plantain and fish, etc.
Whilst catching our breath after “demolishing” some mountains of indigenous cuisines ( LOL! ), I seized the opportunity to share some Local Guides swags with the meet-up attendees. OMG!!! The joy expressed by recipients is so heartwarming. This meet-up also served as an avenue for me to spread the gospel of “Local Guides Clean the World” campaign - originally envisioned and promoted by my dear friend @ermest.
Dear @SanyaOdare Thank you so much for hosting us in this meetup. For me as well it is arguably the most fun and satisfying meetup I have attended.
