@TusharSuradkar hosted a lively meet-up at Green Signals in Pune to celebrate the first anniversary of Maharashtra Local Guides.
A good number of the new local guides joined the community during the meet-up.
The official announcement of the first anniversary logo design contest winner was a high point of the gathering. After winning, @Sushrutsk received a special prize from the host, which included a baseball cap with his winning design, a certificate of appreciation, and some snacks.
Tushar, @ShubhamWaman , @NERKARAMIT , and myself took this opportunity to elaborate more on the Connect platform, local guide community, and contribution towards Google Maps. It was a healthy interactive discussion. Some goodies were distributed to each guest.
A virtual session was included as well in the meet-up, enabling participation from members who were located in different places.
The quiz’s winners were given out by @DurgaK03, who hosted the mast meet-up at the War Memorial Museum in Pune.
Everyone loved the refreshments, which included some snacks and cold coffee.
We took a special group photo to remember the event before saying goodbye.
Maharashtra Local Guides developed a strong sense of community as a result of this inaugural anniversary meet-up, which was a huge success.
