From the moment everyone arrived, the energy was amazing. Whether experienced Level 10 guides or new contributors, everyone shared the same goal — make Google Maps better for our community.
Map Walk: Turning Steps into Impact
We divided into small teams and stepped out for a Map Walk around the area. Here’s what we worked on:
Verified if businesses were open / closed / relocated
Corrected map pin locations
Captured high-quality photos & videos
Updated timings and menus
Checked accessibility features like wheelchair entry & seating
Every small edit we made will help thousands of future users — that’s the true power of Local Guides
