Hi, my dear LGs,
This RECAP is about the ‘Meet & Greet in Person Meetup’ in India Gate by_ @NareshDarji & me. (Here)_
In-person ‘Meet-up with Friends’ has always been a special occasion for me; I am used to travelling thousands of Kilometers for this purpose - Chennai (many times), Delhi (earlier), Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Kochi visits are some of them! It’s a time to catch up, laugh, and create unforgettable memories together. Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a meetup with some of my closest friends and, let me tell you, it was an experience unlike any other.
My excitement was in the sky, as I made my way to the meetup spot; though the meetup was planned at 5 pm, most of us assembled at around 4 pm. The very thought of seeing my friends after such a long time filled me with joy. As I arrived, I was greeted with warm hugs and big smiles, making me feel right at home.

We spent a long time chatting, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. It was amazing to see how we picked up right where we left off as if no time had passed at all. We shared stories, reminisced about old times, and created new memories that will last a lifetime. The best part was that many more new faces turned up and increased our close friends’ circle. Some of the attendees were @AjitThite @Raj_Tayade @Globe_trotter_Ish @PrasadVR @RaviSharma111 @LovePathak28 and others.
Another round of clapping went up when our top-rated, Indian Local Guides’ Community leader, @AmbrishVarshney joined us - it was thrilling to receive him and hug him. After a while of chatting and exchanging pleasantries, we started exchanging our thoughts regarding Google Maps & LG Connect; of course, we shared some personal experiences also.

It was a bonding experience like no other, bringing us closer together as we walked towards the India Gate. At India Gate, we gathered and chatted for a while and took a couple of shots, including some group photos.

Though it was a difficult task to organise a virtual meet during such a loud band, our dear @Prince_Kumar did a wonderful job of keeping all the attendees engaged by virtually presenting the Band - we would have been there almost for about 45 minutes.

As a ‘Meet-up Champion’, I strongly believe that in today’s digital age, where virtual communication is prevalent, physical meetups hold a rare place in our hearts; I am sure that our Connect Moderator, @TusharSuradkar will fully agree with me. There is something special about being in the presence of friends, feeling their energy, and seeing their expressions in person that just can’t be replicated online. It allows us to truly connect on a deeper level and strengthen our relationships in a meaningful way.

The laughter, the conversations, and the memories we created will always hold a special place in my heart. Physical meetups are truly invaluable, and I can’t wait for the next one.
I hope this article has inspired you to prioritise spending quality time with your loved ones in person. Until next time, take care and cherish those moments of togetherness.
