Hello Lgs
I want to share the recap of Pakistan local guides’ travel to explore the princess of hope.
That was not just the normal visit but we want to indicate the lack of amenities that we faced and observed such as wheel chair accessibility , clean washrooms and plastic trash & other garbage at the National heritage of Pakistan and wild animals of the Hingol national park as well.
Princess of hope :
When you start your journey from Karachi about 300 kilometres and almost 5 hours drive towards to makran coastal highway, you will arrive at a truly hidden place from the world as "The Hingol National Park " .
Each and every mountain has its own story and mesmerizing beauty which seems and feels like that time is stopped there.
Princess of Hope is a natural rock formation that manifests a princess looking beyond horizons (maybe for hope). The sea breeze coming from the Arabian Sea has worked for many years an expert craftsman to carve this beautiful sculpture. Princess of Hope stands high in the mountain range along with Makran Coastal Highway.
The entire landscape is covered with gorges and mountains of mud and rock. Climatic changes, rain and strong winds coming from the sea have transformed these rocks into nicely sculpted objects – the Princess of Hope is just one of them.
The formation of Princess of Hope is so perfect that it appears to be a masterpiece of a skilled artisan who has made no mistake in transforming this rock into a princess. The name Princess of Hope was given by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie on her visit to this area.
Our trip :
Our trip was based on four reasons,
1 ) Explore the princess of hope :
We were seven people , who travelled for those great and unbelievable beautiful mountains for which I am obliged and would like say thank you to my fellows who actually made the plan possible.
We started our journey from Karachi around 4am, towards the hub and then to makran coastal highway .
It was a long way to reach kund malir and then to Princess of Hope.
My adventurous fellows enjoyed traveling whole time.
2) Lack of facilities such as clean washroom / rest rooms:
Till hub and then winder city, you can get clean washrooms in restaurants or near masjids, but from makran coastal highway to kund malir, there was not a single clean public washroom. You will see very small restaurants & just few small petrol pumps but without facility of washrooms.
More over it one of the main reason thatmany local tourists dont want to travel there.
3) Wheel chair accessible entrance:
There was no wheel chair accessible entrance for the people who can’t walk to the actual place where that beautiful master piece is situated. @IlankovanT
4) Food waste and garbage by tourists there :
It was unbelievable that people threw food wastage , plastic bottles, and other garbage at that beautiful heritage of Pakistan.
Though our group of friends tried our best to clean the place from garbage as we believe that this is not just a tourist place, but the home of wild animals of hingol national park. @ErmesT
These were the four basic hindrances which we felt of our memorable trip of hingol national park and to the Princess of Hope .
After that visit we went to the office of officials of Hingol national park, to indicate about the problems because of which people might be avoiding to travel to the great natural heritage of Pakistan.
we have given them our suggestions about how we can increase tourism in Baluchistan and specially at the Princess of Hope. And we hope that our visit and indication of lack of facilities to official can make some change and it will be the reason to increase tourism Pakistan.
Please check that video with Baluchistan’s traditional song in background. I hope you will love it
