Before the Connect Live 2019 (event), some of us decided to come before and enjoy San Francisco.
The magic of this community (localguideconnect.com) is that you can really and easily meet people through this.
So with @AniaKiser that we decided to organize a meeting and make the visit possible for other Connect Live participants.
To summarize, 8 different nationalities and also accompanying persons to make the Alcatraz tour

We chose to take the first boat in the morning so we avoid the big crowd
So we were at the start of the boat at 8:45 - Enjoy the pictures and explanations ?
We took this special boat to go to Alcatraz Island
It is a very successful experience and despite the early start time of the day, there were many people there.

Arrival and before the beginning of the visit
Now the Alcatraz Tour !
I have chosen some pictures to show you the visit. But it is an experience that I believe can be experienced on the spot and with difficulty with photos. Before starting the visit we receive an audio headset with many languages available. It also reproduces atmospheres from the days when the prison was still active.
On the pictures, we see

- The inside of a cell
- The space provided for visits for detainees
End of meet-up : come back to San Fransico and share a meal at Boudin
