[RECAP]AccessibilityBD-06- ♿Uncovered Inclusive College. Khilgaon, Dhaka.

“People with disabilities are not a burden to society. Among them are sharp, talented, and uniquely talented. Physical or any other disability is not a disability, but a different kind of ability.”

Hello, My dear friends everyone.

I Hope everyone is doing well with the family. On 21/08/2021 I conducted my 6th meetup in :wheelchair: #AccessibilityBD series. The place of this meetup wasKhilgaon Model University College. in Dhaka. This meetup was scheduled at +6GMT from 3 pm to 5 pm. Let’s have tea together with the college teaches and start the event.

  1. Open-discussion:
  • The subject of discussion: Opinions of five teachers in College- What do they think about Accessibility.

(Their statements were summarized) “Given the opportunity, people with disabilities can do a lot through skills and expertise, if the talents and talents of the disabled can be utilized, they will become human resources. They can be made self-reliant by acquiring different skills according to their ability. Are the rights of the disabled being protected in society? Everyone should see it. With human rights, appropriate care a conducive environment, financial cooperation, empathy, and compassion, they can be a worthy partner in building a country and a nation. So let us be very careful to show genuine love and compassion for people with disabilities. Be aware of the protection of their human rights. The full right of persons with disabilities to access education, training, healthcare, rehabilitation, employment, and recreation must be ensured.”

As part of its continuation program #AccessibilityBD movement of people with disabilities in educational institutions, I will check the advantages and disadvantages today. We discussed the matter with some of the teachers of this educational institution and ensured the use of wheelchairs of disabled students. There are no educational activities for visually impaired and speech impaired students in this university. So let’s discuss the matter in the presence of 05 teachers including the principal sir. To introduce supportive educational activities for the disabled.
