Caption: a Local business in Surulere-Lagos
This meet up a Glimpse of Surulere is a photowalk that is meant to show off some of the business around the city.
11:00 and local guides have started turning out for our photo walk. The event was first greeted by the gracious presence of the radiant @Kuburat who came along with her cousin a potential local guide. While we waited the arrival of other local guides, we spent the next 30 minutes in knowledge sharing on how we each take time to make contributions to the map.
Then here comes @IsaacUnlimited one of the connect live 2019 attendee. We did some catchups and discussed how to add quality content to help improve the map.
At 11:40 we proceeded out for the event of the day, catching a Glimpse of Surulere. We walked through two commercial streets Ogunlana drive and Akerele, taking pictures and collated a few information from business owners. Half way through, we were joined by another local guide @MrLabule . We had an interesting hour walk of about 2km, taking photos of businesses.

Then we took a short drive to Ofadaboy, a famous afrocentric restaurant in the heart of surulere. We sampled out their palm wine and had other grubs to cool off the hot Saturday sun.

Much appreciation goes to @MrFreez for organizing the meet up and Mr. @Mayford for being a good particpant and informing us more about some lovely services and business found in the area. Mr @MrLabule presence also made the photo walk a fun one. Sadly, I had other engagements and couldnt make it to ofada boy. Many places to source for well desrved items for yourself and yours are present in the area, please take a trip to ogunlana drive and akerele road in surulere when you have the opportunity.
