I like to collect different countries’ coins and I have 5-7 countries’ coins and banknotes in my collection. Today, I am going to share one of my favorite coins with you. Yes, this is a Bangladeshi coin which is rare to find.

Obverse:
The National Emblem of Bangladesh: A water lily bordered on two sides by rice sheaves. Above are tea leaves and four stars representing the four principles of the first constitution of Bangladesh in 1972: nationalism, secularism, socialism, and democracy.
Reverse:
Four stylized human figures (parents with son & daughter) with the slogan “Planned Family- Food for All”.
