Pabna is a Historic old district & Ishwardi is an iconic part of this city. Last winter I visited Ishwardi to attend one of my colleague’s marriage ceremonies and besides this, I am trying to explore some antique places & tourist attractions at this upazila.
Railway Divisional Headquarters is one of the oldest & important headquarters in Bangladesh. The total area is green with trees & grass, quiet & pollution free. Buildings are still reddish as built in the British period.
The most interesting part is the first narrow gauge train is kept here. Another surprising thing is the part of the bomb which is used to destroy Hardinge Bridge during the period of the 1971 war, which is also showcased here. Both antique things surprise me as a traveler & explorer.
