Hi!
My name is Jess and I was born into this amazingly beautiful, picturesque little village called Džajići with crystal clear, turquoise river. For some, it is a piece of heaven on Earth and I am one of these people.
Through rafting and the tourism business related to it, our community thrives, both economically and socially, therefore it was necessary to recognize our responsibility towards our community and our nature. We demonstrated this responsibility by organizing a “cleaning event” in April 2019 where we collected garbage all along the shores of the river Neretva that runs through the village. Below you can see a couple of photos that show the pristine beauty of this place as well as the fun we had during the clean-up.
This little story is the answer to what I like to share but it also taps into the answer of why and that is beacuse I care about this place and I want to share it with the world.
