WHO IT’S FOR
A meetup for local guides, friends and photographers. (You don’t need anything more than a mobile phone or you can bring your fanciest camera equipment, it’s up to you.) Let’s keep out winter’s chill with a warm meetup of friendly people.
WHERE: SHED H, Fruit and Vege, on the Queen Street side – see map: https://qvm.com.au/shops-stalls/berries-corner/
MEETING TIME: Saturday, July 10, 2021 @ 10:30/10:45AM
END: 12:30/1PM with optional lunch somewhere
(If you plan to join us for lunch, please indicate this in your RSVP to help in planning for a suitable spot – especially in case we have to make reservations depending on group size.)
A focus of this meetup will be food, photography and accessibility – but you can also craft your own theme as we wander through the fruit and vege and food sheds of Melbourne’s iconic Queen Victoria Market.
SOME THINGS TO DO AT THE MEETUP
- Eat your way through the market or you could take photos of people eating their way through the market, or you could take photos of food found at the market, or you could take photos of people taking photos of food at the market … It’s literally up to you.
- Pick your own theme or anything that catches your fancy.
- Meet people and make new friends.
- Maps edits of businesses at Queen Victoria Market – to ensure the accuracy of information and support small business.
- We’ll also take note of accessibility issues in and around this place.
