Thank you for sharing! I must say that all these dishes look simply amazing and would love to give all of them a try. Which one is your favorite? I love eating Naan bread, there are so many kind of it and the combination with butter chicken is simply the best for me.
Could you share the names of the dishes you tried as I don’t recognize all of them. : )
Yes @HiroyukiTakisawa … Bombay Basera restaurant is in Dubai and it’s really awesome place to eat. For a common Indian like me who was craving for Vegetarian food for quite some days, this restaurant came as a blessing for me.
I’ve written a detailed review about this restaurant on Google Maps. They excel in every area - from taste to ambience to services. I would say a complete value for money.
Yes, you should visit if you happen to be in Dubai again. Good Luck !!!
Yes @TsekoV … the dishes are really amazing and are worth a try. Well, my favourite is the Butter Naan (Indian Butter Bread) with a vegetable curry or Dal Makhni. There are many other dishes too which I like - Paneer Butter Masala, Aloo Mutter, Rajma, Pindi Chhole, Malai Kofta, and many more. Hehe !!!
Although Butter Chicken is a non-vegetarian dish, I like it too. I love if it is processed in thick gravy and garnished with little butter and some dhaniya.
Here, I’ll tell you all the dishes present in the 1st picture on the plate. Starting clockwise, here we go.
Seviya (Vermicelli which is originally made up of thick wheat) dipped in milk
Potato Masala - without curry
Aloo Mutter - with curry
Yellow Dal - I think it is Moong Dal (best source of proteins for vegetarians)
Mixed Vegetable - without curry
Curd
You can Butter Roti (Indian Bread) and Papad too in the plate.
In the 3rd picture, you can Pooris which are actually fried wheat bread and becomes fluffy during deep frying. Along with that, we have pickles and salad (onion & lemon).
I hope I’ve triggered your taste buds. You should have Indian Vegetarian food from a good restaurant whenever you get a chance.
Thank you so much for the detailed information. Only by reading your explanations I cannot hide I felt hungry a lot. : )
The Butter Naan is something I could eat on a daily basis, it is that good. Can you cook some of the dishes you described? I have never tried them before…
Good to see you here @BorrisS and Thanks for reading this post.
Yes, chicken korma and chicken curry are spicy ones. Curry is a famous Indian soup which is used with maximum vegetables and non-veg items like chicken and mutton.
