Puran Polis at Bhim Tadi Jatra Pune. Puran Polis are a sweet made during festival times in Maharashtra. These are eaten with Ghee or some even dip it in milk and enjoy it. The Bhim Tadi Jatra is a fair / carnival organized every year. Handicrafts, pickles, papads, clothes, saris, demonstrations on history of Saris & Malakhamb Sports, and many different types of stalls are here. This video shows women cooking in open air on traditional Shegdi i.e. Brick Stove. The size of the Puran Polis here is huge but the ones we make at home are smaller!
