Public transport TFI Ireland

First time i visit to Galway, Ireland

It’s very good clean and friendly country, lot’s of indians also here.

Also here good public transport like Bus, rail, tram,and cycle. it’s operated by TFI transport for Ireland. TFI mannged counrty.

I mostly used bus, it’s very clean and mannaged transport.

You can top up leap card by using Mobile app, offline store AN Post office and website.

TFI Leap Card can be used on the following services:

  • Bus Éireann
  • Dublin Bus
  • Go-Ahead Ireland
  • DART and commuter rail services in the Short Hop Zone in Dublin and on the Cork to Cobh/Midleton train lines
  • Luas
  • Private operators such as Ashbourne Connect, City Direct, Matthews Coaches and Wexford Bus

Yes, I was aware of Irish as a language but guessed that it must be some dialect of English or similar.

So, the element of surprise, when I saw the boards in two languages, was that the other was dissimilar to English.
