I am from Sri Lanka. My country is having beautiful, attraction and historical places to visit and see. Because of an island, there are several beautiful and safe beaches for sea bathing and wind surfing. In my leisure time I would like to travel various places within my country. At that time I faced some difficulties to find eating places or correct route to my destination.
So, I thought if I can give correct information to find restaurants, hotels or attractive places that will help to community. I thought I can help to people by joining as a Google Local guide. So, I start working as a Google Local Guide since November 2017.
One of my favourite hobby is taking photographs on places. My country administrated by 25 districts with 25 major cities. Fortunately I have visited all major cities. Because of my profession I worked on eight districts in my country. So, I have large number of photographs throught the country.
I am posting any kind of photograph. I am not care it is restaurant, hotel or cadjan hut. If it is a business place , I post it. Mostly I posted historical places, because future generation must know how that place was.
Now I am happy with posting photographs on places and answering questions from others. I am proud to be a Google Local guide.
