Problems sharing location and saving history on Google Maps on iOS

When I go on sharing location on my google maps app on IPhone, I can see my friends location, but they can’t see my location.

I’ve got this “this device is not sending location updates”.

Then I’m trying to fix it in Settings. My location history is Active, but I noticed that message on my device: “use a location enabled Google app on the iOS device to change setting”.

What it means?

It it was working (location sharing and location history). But now, I couldn’t figure it out how to make it work again.

Any ideas?!

Anyone?!

I’ve tried on two distinct devices (iPhone 6 and Iphone XS), but got the same problem.

Is it only me? Or someone else are facing the same issue on iOS devices?

I still trying… no sucess.

I’ve tried to disconnect all devices on Google Account, changed my password, reinstalled Google Maps on both devices (iPhone 6 and iPhone XS)… no sucess.

Still with this message: “use a location enabled google app on the ios device to change the setting” on my iOS devices and I can’t select some iOS devices because it has that grey color.

Thanks for your question and sorry for the delayed answer.

Do you still have this issue? Usually to be able to share your location with others you have to follow these steps for iOS. Please also make sure your location history is on. I hope this helps.

This is definitely not the solution.
