Hello good morning. I wrote a review because of my bad experience and the business owner responded with lies, I went to edit my review to respond with politeness and good words due to his false and bad response and Google Maps would not let me update it. This man even threatened to report me if I didn’t delete my review and even accused me of having another account and giving it a bad rating. Looking at his profile, all his reviews are 5 stars, except two that have nothing written, possibly this man writes fake reviews or tells friends to do them for him, as these people can see, the majority have barely more than 10 reviews on all your Google Maps history, I would like to know how to report this company account for spam and threatening to delete my review. We should have a tab to report the owner’s response for spam, since they manipulate the reviews by answering that you never went to their business, that the experience was not as I mentioned… etc. If anyone can help or guide me I would appreciate it, greetings
I add the owner’s response where he answers that I have not been his client and that I owe him money. Those are the false answers that he says I am just to maintain his credibility and have clients. Apart from the false reviews that have been requested to improve the score.
I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this situation. This is a problem that Google Maps need to solve immediately.
@giannisandrianakis Indeed, for these types of things they can block your account and lose years of work in maps without being able to justify it. The owners have learned in these times that reviews are very valuable and when they do not like the criticism, instead of accepting it they reject it for spam, or for unfair competition or indicate that you have chosen the wrong business. Leaving your review as a lie . I am grateful that I am not the only one, but this last year it has been costing me a lot of time and effort to upload verified information only to have it later rejected. Greetings, by the way, the progressive graph regarding the reviews is a very good idea.
Very interesting. Thanx for this conversation. Reviews are a big issue, and these form part of the relatively new issue of EEAT or Experience Expertise Authority and Trust, which is a rather complicated issue, associated with the Google online search algorythyms of the Google HummingBird family.
These reviews have a very big impact on the SERPs or Search Engine Results pages associated with an online search query. SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a very complicated process, where there are many different issues that need to be considered when implementing online marketing tactics to get better ORGANIC SEARCH RESULTS for your online content.
Having a Google Guides account has improved my personal online search results in many strange ways. I blog once in a while about online sear h issues at 4ubrand.blogspot.com
@VEMADBR Hello. For my reviews, I have not had to prove that I was an actual customer. However, I have seen business owners discredit other reviewers by saying that the reviewers used a fake name or were employed by a competing business.
Was your verified information requested by Google or by the business?
@tayanosky Thank you very much for providing your experience, Google usually rejects my reviews, normally 1 out of 3 and to create a new site, of the 100 sites that I have wanted to create, not one has allowed me to do so. I reported this profile for supposed spam and Google dismissed it. Greetings and good morning
