Problem on Google Map app

Hi @sonnyNg ,

May I ask for your help again? Just now, I opened my Google Map app to add a place. Unfortunately, whenever I click on the 3 lines on the left uppermost corner of the page, beside the search here tab, for me to see options, nothing happened and instead, the blue tab notification appears and I don’t seem to need that notification. I am also wondering because inside that 3lines symbol, there is a question mark. Is there something wrong with my app then?

Congratulations on getting the new user interface.

Now the menus in the Hamburger icon are shifted to the new locations & that’s what the blue prompt is trying to tell you.

Nevertheless, you will find information on how to maneuver through the new menus in the following table.

Hamburger menu	Location in the new UI
Your places	Saved → Lists or Labelled
Your timeline	Saved → Lists and then scroll to bottom
Your contributions	This can be seen only in the Contribute menu
Your profile	Contribute
Message	Updates → Message tab
Location sharing	Profile icon → Location sharing
Start driving	? - (Anyway, I never used that feature)
Only wifi	Profile icon → Settings → Wifi only
Offline maps	Profile icon → Settings → Offline maps
Google earth	? - But, one can always use the standalone app
Your data in Maps	Profile icon → Your data in Maps
Tips and tricks	?
Add missing places	Contribute → Edit maps or Add place Alternatively Profile icon → Help & Feedback
Settings	Profile icon → Settings
Help	Profile icon → Help & Feedback
Send feedback	Profile icon → Help & Feedback
Privacy, Terms and conditions	Profile Icon → Privacy policy - Terms of services
