Polonnaruwa is a ancient city of kings and has lot of ruined temples. I wish to do a photo walk through this heritage sites on 22nd February. The photo walk will start at 8.00 a.m. from the statue of king Parakramabahu. Then we plan to walk to the quadrangle area passing the Vejayantha Pasada (Royal Palace) and Kumara Pokuna (Royal Baths). Then we plan to move towards 2nd Siva Temple and then to Rankoth Vehera, Lankatilaka and Kiri Vehera. Finally we will visit the gal Vihara Temple.

Visited this ancient heritage site when I was a school boy. Haven’t been there since then. Excited to see those wonders from history again.
