Plogging in a new city

Recently i changes my city from Hyderabad to Bangalore and I am kind of finding a community to fit in .

I was searching online and I found this NGO called “Let Us Be The Change”.

I just loved the way they help to clean the locality and pain the walls along the streets . I joined them and went for a plog run , i helped them to add the painted walls on maps and that was exciting .

If you are from bangalore and want o help your part , find Let us be the change website to register to volunteer for a cause .

We plogged a radius of 3 kms and collected around 25kgs of plastic , it was taken by another NGO who recycles the plastic to convert it to tshirts for school children

Please find clicks form the day , it was way back in Feb before this covid thing , looking forward to be back .

Hi @NarenChandra ,

Thanks for sharing this nice initiative with us! I am very happy to see your committment and your engagement, well done!

Bangalore seems to be a beautiful city, full of art and culture, glad to see you are adapting well and finding new friends. What is your favourite place in town so far?

Did you know about this similar initiative, I hope you find it inspiring too: [RECAP] Local Guides Clean the World, Dhaka.

Hi @Giu_DiB thanks for sharing a similar content ,

I am loving this place , like Hyderabad (My previous home) has a dated history of kings rule , here too there has been traces of kings rule and I love that part of the city , more than half of the population in the city are non locals and that is the best part .
