That place looks like has been claimed as business, @Marek_k (Google My Business; GMB). So only the Owner (someone that has claimed it) that could change its name.

The problem is that the owner indicates how many stars the hotel has and Google does not verify it like booking.com. All objects around the world are categorized and everyone has to show a document from the authorities of a given region. Google does not check and does not verify it.
Everyone can name themselves as they want, an example is this object described by sadyba.spa. Description of this property beyond our capabilities :-(. Still says in the business card that it is a 4 star hotel. As a local guide nothing can be done shows the huge hole in awarding stars in the hotel in google map. There is even no description on what basis google gives faith to the owner verification consists in sending a mail to the indicated address end and this is the only verification it is enough to call the facility and see if it is the hotel, asking who issued the permission to give the stars to the facility or providing the license number, i.e. the permission issued by the authority. otherwise it cannot be called a hotel because it is a proprietary name and is subject to all if it is used justly.

I checked that hotel’s website, TripAdvisor, booking.com, and even reviews shared by you that clearly saying that hotel service is not good but still that place is a hotel so I don’t think so google will not change its category.

You didn’t make any effort to check it out and I checked it out. There are thousands of such errors and it shows the helplessness of the local guide and not proving whether I judge the object well or badly. google does not verify this from the position of any of us gives faith to the owner of the object that does not mark the truth.

I’m not sure if you are interested in tips from other local guides.
I read your case, and understand that the use of the words hotel and pension are restricted by Polish authorities. Hence, I don’t understand why you don’t seek to fix such issues locally rather than trying to ask Google to step in. Also, fixing a listing on Google Maps will not solve that the hotel is currently active and bookable on booking.com.
I don’t think it is in the interest of maps users and google to remove this listing from Google Maps. If you disagree, please share some arguments for discussion.
