Photographing is my passion and one of that is plane spotting, oh that feeling when huge iron bird with incredible sounds passes over you, that time you have only a few second to catch moment. If you ask me a question Airbus or Boeing? That could be difficult to answer for me. Because from Boeing I like B777 model and from Airbus A350 XWB. I’m a staunch Airbus fan and I really like flying in the A380.
I’ve been living in Doha since September 2019. Although I’m not directly in the flight path, when I’m playing tennis in the weekend, normally there are Qatar Airways flying out every few minutes. Currently there are hardly any although Qatar Airways is currently the airline that is flying the most throughout the world.
When I’m playing tennis, I know when an A380 is flying past as it has a different sound to all the others.
When I was young, I lived nearby an Air Force base and later on I was also in the Air Force. I always knew the sounds of the planes. It was just automatic that I would hear a plane, know what kind it was and then look up and see that I was right.
