Inside the Terminal, Christmas 2018 was in the air. The airport was just being decorated.
Soon, it was time to board the Virgin Atlantic A340-600 to Atlanta.
Once in the air, we were served with juice and snacks.
Over the Atlantic, an announcement was made signalling 100 years to the end of World War I. It ended following the signing of an armistice between the Allies and Germany that called for a ceasefire effective at
11 a.m.– it was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
Then, came lunch.
Since the duration of the flight was 9 hours and 30 minutes, I settled in for some rest. We were also give headphones to enjoy the in-flight entertainment.
