Hello Local Guides
After participating in Pinkathon in 2014, joining Pinkathon again in 2026 brought back beautiful memories. This time, it was especially meaningful because we celebrated fitness and togetherness right in our own neighbourhood, Manish Nagar!
Around 25 ladies participated, representing different generations. The biggest inspiration was seeing a 92-year-old lady attend with her 72-year-old daughter and grandchild! Our energetic Google Aunty, Hingorani Primla, who is 82+, was another wonderful example that age is just a number. Her enthusiasm and dedication are truly inspiring.
A BIG HUG AND HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO GOOGLE AUNTY 72 – HINGORANI PRIMLA! ![]()
She took the initiative and managed so many arrangements single-handedly. From gifts and medals to drinking water, tea, biscuits and refreshments, she made sure everyone was looked after. When I called her a few days before the event, she told me that she had already completed all the arrangements! Her dedication deserves special appreciation.
How we celebrated the morning:
- We gathered at 6:30 am near Manish Nagar Temple, opposite Building 35.
- Everyone introduced themselves.
- Neelam ji conducted an energetic chair warm-up and exercise session.
- Manish Nagar Committee members flagged off the walk.
- Everyone walked on the garden walking track according to their own stamina.
- Another warm-up session followed the walk.
- We felicitated Army Flying Officer Itishha Ma’am, Jyotsna Dighe Ma’am and Bindu Bhosle Ma’am.
- Participants were honoured with beautiful medals.
Refreshments were thoughtfully arranged:
We enjoyed idli with chutney, tea and biscuits. Special arrangements were also made for those who were fasting, including bananas and sabudana khichdi .
The fun continued with three lucky draws, passing-the-parcel game, lots of chit-chat, laughter and memorable moments. Google Aunty also distributed gifts, making everyone feel special.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MY DAUGHTER, GURSHEEN KAUR KOHLI! ![]()
( @Sheen07 got certificate from Pinkathon for clicking our photos & video because of her i could upload video in my YouTube channel)
She helped us capture the beautiful moments of Pinkathon through videos and photographs. Her support helped preserve these lovely memories, which we can cherish and share for years to come. A big hug and lots of love to her!
It was not just a morning walk or a fitness event. It was a beautiful gathering where women encouraged one another, celebrated health and built friendships.
My sincere thanks to Google Aunty 72 (Hingorani Primla), Neelam ji, Manish Nagar Committee members, my daughter Gursheen kohli every participant who contributed to making this event successful.
I hope this first initiative inspires many more residents to join next year. This year around 25 ladies walked together; next year let’s make it even bigger!
Age is just a number. Fitness has no age limit!
