Photos!
Adding photos to the locations gives so much more meaning, the old saying “1 photo says more than 1000 words” really is true.
I really like to share all kinds of information about all different places. But to populate the Google Maps with high qualify photos is truly a blast for me. I like to take photos, a lot. Of most things. Of course for Google Maps buildings, landmarks and nature close to those makes a true difference for the users. Not only get information about places, but to see them as they are in really really makes a difference for me. It helps me when I plan my vacations, and by contribute I hope I can help others!
I mostly try to use my full-frame Sony mirrorless camera and transfer the photos to the phone or later at peace home use the computer to contribute to Maps.
