Recently i am facing issues with picture upload, even when the picture is uploaded from mobile when viewed the same picture in web it shows as “no user photo available here“
Been facing this for the last two days for many pictures uploaded.
Is there any breakage at google end or what kind of issue this is?
Hello @AkshayMee this usually happens, if a photo was rejected by the SPAM filter und you share the link with others. However in this case, you should still see your Photo under My Contributions → Photos.
Anyawy, looking at your profile, I can see out of you 13,075 photos an 1,508 videos, only 13,759 went puplic, thus 824 photos or videos are indeed hidden to the public. I recommend reading @MortenCopenhagen’s series of articles How to Get In and Out of Trouble: The Main post
In addition to @WilfriedB great answer, it might be worth first checking if your upload issues could be related to a bad internet connection. But if you see the photos under Your contributions - Photos them this is not the case.
When I face an issue uploading a particular photo (will not go public) I try uploading them as a photo update. This usually works. But is will then not be attached to a review.
Hello @AkshayMee The photos I added in my last comment are visible when I look at them on the computer. It even appears when I log out of Google. Photos loaded very quickly. In the past, photos had to be uploaded one by one and it took time. There seems to be no problem with the maps.
There are also others who are experiencing the problem of the photo not appearing even though the comment has been published. If the comment is published, the photos must be published as well. In my opinion, if the photo is not published, the comment will not be published either.
