I found this to be interesting and curious what you two and others might think. So, i saw some of my photos with no views. Zero. I checked to see if they were public, and Yes they were, doing an incognito search.
I then looked at the business and searched under ALL photos, and they are not shown. Not even when searching with me logged in, non incognito mode. Normal. I found this interesting and wondered if these are private even tho visible using anon search. I will link one to see if others can view it. Thoughts?
Not only you, @StevenBerlin. I found a couple of those several weeks or even months ago. Some kind of āsoft hiddenā - public, but nobody will find them.
If there are already many photos/videos in the listing and you find yours in position 500 would be the same effect.
But the link, you added here seems to reach the cover photo ā¦?

I posted ten photo to this POI, but only eight appear under āBy meā.
One of those, not showing is this one.

No no. That photo is not the cover photo. They look similar tho. My question really is why are these photos not showing up under ALL photos if in fact it is a public/good photo under that business. And, since two of you have seen this photo, why still the zero views. I believe there was another topic regarding this 2nd point.
@StevenBerlin, I read your post, with interest. I have been seeing similar things. The link you gave worked and I added a like too. I saw that the photo was not shown under recent.
I did note that POI has only 58 photos, which normally would be a good thing. However 14 (24%) of them are of the same view as yours. @WilfriedB, I also enjoyed your post. I realize that architectural photos often need to be taken in portrait mode, but I wonder if its orientation was an issue to the algorithm?
I did not see other photos of that particular view. The first photo I found by you is at #31 in the gallery. I thought it was odd that it didnāt appear in recent. @MortenCopenhagen mentioned about adding as an update may help. Earlier in the year I was adding almost everything with a caption, but I have done very few recently.
Is any one tracking performance by adding a photo vs an update? @JustJake?

That doesnāt really surprise me, since it is not so recent anymore. Was taken on Sep 6 and posted October 15 - more than a month ago now.
Another interesting thing at this POI:
Five of my ten photos did show views staring at Oct 19 & 20. All stopped increasing after three weeks! So, I assume they were at higher positions and got pushed down on Nov 8 & 9. One of the zero-views-photos showed the first 10 views just this morning. (Because of you guys watching?) and exactly that one is now on position 28.

The most recent āUpdateā I posted is the only video on a POI and has 0 views. The photos I posted under the POI from the same morning have 300 - 900 views. All of mine are showing under the āLatestā Tab.
Very rarely, I upload photos under āUpdateā. In German this shows as āNeuigkeitenā which translates to news, so I mainly show signs such as āClosed for vacation from ā¦ to ā¦ā and see only very few views, if any for those.
Wilfried, I donāt specifically use āUpdatesā for news or information. I sometimes add a photo the regular way, then add a second one via updates so that I can also add a Caption for extra points. Now that @JustJake and @Rednewt74 are asking about it, Iāll monitor it more closely, but I hadnāt discerned any disadvantage before.

I find this interesting and puzzling. Since we know they are public, it seems odd that they are not displayed under ALL. Perhaps tge system is glitchy every so often, or perhaps they are actually a private photo which appears public, which would be bad for those of us trying to figure out which are photos should be deleted. My count keeps increasing. I am up to 130 hidden now, but i have 17,000 or so photos. Not too bad, however i wish i could find the bad ones and just delete
