The one thing I love sharing is photos - I am HUGE fan of taking photos and sharing them with the world on Google Maps as I feel this gives a more realistic idea of the atmosphere, style and especially the food/drink offering.
There has been times where the venue’s website will be completely different to the style of the restaurant so it throws you off when you turn up. Also, the main part is to see what the food and drink looks like so it gives you an idea of what you’re getting into OR gives you an idea what you can order when you can potentially order. As much as I love sharing the good stuff, I do feel that I should share the bad stuff too because if a venue sets expectations high and falls through - I will share it with the Google Maps Community to advise that it’s not worth wasting someone else’s time or recommend that they do not order certain things.
To me, photos can say a million things and I hope my photos has helped to inspire or encourage people to try certain restaurants/bars and make the most of being in certain cities!!
I’ve included a sample of some of my photos below as a quick snapshot of the various things I like to snap from food, drink, lobby, bedrooms - there is no limited :D.
I think my highest views has always been my photos so I feel that these are helping people make decisions as well as contributing to the Google Community :).
