@MortenCopenhagen I’ve noticed this here too. Notifications aren’t daily, but at least two to three times a week, user view information is uploaded.
@MortenCopenhagen the “you” notification (in my opinion) provides only sample some of those interaction or feature media messages.
As frequent media uploader - I occasionally check my recent uploads against the site (to see what has been featured) and I can see that MANY are featured or take lead without as well as get reaction without getting a notificaiton sent.
I still like when notification do come - always nice to know our contributions are having some impact
I completely agree that the Your photo is featured notifications are not prioritized to reflect photos getting a lot of views. The randomness is from my observations like this: When we upload a large batch of photos only the first one getting featured will trigger a notification.
Are you able to determine if the Someone liked your photo notifications are complete (so every reaction results in a notification)?
Very true, but why are people new seeing them when I expect they’re long since buried under much newer contributions? I wonder if Google is deliberately making these old items more visible now.
I’ve noticed this too @abermans. Notifications for “featured” photos don’t seem to come now, even though I often post to POIs with less than 10 photos or no photos at all. As far as I remember, any position in the first 10 is a featured photo.
