Seeing numerous inaccuracies and discrepancies within the Google Map Contributions software between the total number of photos I’ve uploaded (shows 1,656 in one place and 1,644 in another), and the corresponding number of “views” (3,262) and “impact” (609/100000) counts. For example, I’ve uploaded thousands of photos that have been viewed multiple times, yet when I check this number it is much less than the true number, and not even the same number depending on where you check.
Next, the “impact” count of these photos is far less than the above-stated inaccurate and inconsistent number of photos uploaded–only 609, which stopped counting weeks ago. Sorting through this mess is made even more difficult and confusing when checking the Views total.
If I understand correctly, if I’ve uploaded a volume of let’s say 1,644 photos and they each receive an average of 4 views, my Impact count should be at least between 1,644 and 6,576.
Here’s the workflow: Google Maps > Your contributions > Novice Photographer Badge icon > Impact count shows only 609.
I understand this has previously been an issue: ([UPDATE 2/2/18] Known Issue: Impact badge counts not updating).
Is it just me or has it not been fixed? Is there a solution? What do I do/who do I contact?
