Permission to use logos of Google Maps and Local Guides

Moderators,

I have organized a GLG meetup on this upcoming Monday, 15Apr2019.

Planning to create (at my cost), small stickers/badges with the Googlemap logo and maybe some custom data about the participating GLG (eg. name, level). These can be worn/stuck in the front or on the back of the tee-shirt. Gives a nice aura of authenticity and feeling of belonging to the group.

Checked the policy regarding use of the GLG logoGLG logo.JPGon these stickers/badges?

Please advise how I can get permission to use the logo for this purpose.

If a moderator’s permission is sufficient, kindly do authorize.

Program rules are clear, in the use of Logos:

“The Local Guides logo is a Google brand identity and is reserved for official use only. Do not use the Local Guides logo, pin, or any other Google imagery in any of your online or offline materials without expressed written permission.”

I suggest you the use of the “powered by us” logo insted

The referred policy is very clear and requires users to take permission…

Kindly advise whose permission is to be sought and how, to use the Googlemap and LocalGuides logos for authorized GLG meetup arranged by a GLG.

As it is previously indicated, you are only allowed to use the Local Guides stickers.

You are not allowed to use any other logos, pins which are Google imagery as it is clearly mentioned in the program rules.

Feel free to submit your meet-up at Pune again. I believe that there will be a lot of Local Guides in your area interested to join the event!

Thank you @KatyaL . The meetup has already been scheduled and few RSVPs received :slight_smile:

Just thinking of walking around with some LocalGuide logos on stickers on tee-shirts, hence the query.

Decided to go ahead with the stickers as recommended. Will just print the Name and Level of the GLG for those who RSVPed and came, simple logo for those who come without RSVP…

This is my first “meetup” on GLG group…

Hi google, I have problem people can’t fallow me when I gave them my google local Guid account name I tried many methods, but still with the same issue. Could you please help me solve my problem.
