This is the second time it happen to my that my road edit still pending and I think “Google” complete it. I am I correct?
have you ever find same thing happed to you.
I am not upset at the end the road has been drown successfully in google map I am happy but I was wondering why?
the only explanation in my mind that “Google” interfere to fix something. Any idea for other reasons.

@Port Please try to add smaller segments while adding new road. It works for me.

The orange lines stay visible in the editor view for some time after the edit was accepted. You are probably credited with the edit.
You could probably prove it, but it’s just time consuming to trawl through all the edits and approvals to match up the data.

Steve, @Steve_UK is correct.
When an edit is [internally] approved usually there is a temporary status on which the two lines lines are visible simultaneously. If you check the orange dotted line you will see that the starting point is no longer connected with the existing road.
The dotted line will disappear when you will receive the notification of the approval.
This is very normal, and I’ve observed it thousands of times on my own edit.
Hello @Port, that happened to me at least once. I was trying for quite a while to add a biking path. I was able to complete about 5 km or so in small pieces, but couldn’t finish the loop at the end:
Nevertheless the entire path with some 20 km in total, still has many gaps.
