Hi @fenadir, this is such an important topic! ![]()
Editing and adding missing roads for villages is one of the most impactful things we can do as Local Guides. I also spend quite a bit of time trying to improve the maps and correct road alignments around my own village area. It sometimes takes a while for the edits to get approved, but the way it helps the local community with better navigation makes it completely worth it!
Are you focusing on adding new missing paths in Pembelik Köyü, or correcting the existing ones? Keep up the fantastic map editing work in Antalya! ![]()

Mevcut yolu düzeltmek istiyorum. Köye gelmek isteyenleri google haritaları kullanırsa uzun bir yoldan gelmek zorunda geliyor. Bu yol köyün gerçek ve resmi yolu da değil.
To understand correctly what you are asking @fenadir : is the problem that the road in incorrectly drawn on the map, or is the road correctly represented, but is the Maps navigation directing people the wrong way?
Haritada yol yanlış çizilmiş. Doğru yolun çizilmesi gerekiyor.
Please share details of the exact location. Do the satellite image clearly show the correct trajectory? In that case there are some specialists, such as @MarcoDavoli who could probably help.

Hi @fenadir, thank you for clarifying! That is a very common but frustrating issue for rural areas. When Maps routes people through a longer, unofficial path, it really affects the local community and visitors alike.
Since you want to correct an existing route, the best approach is to use the ‘Fix a road’ or ‘Report a routing problem’ feature on the Google Maps app.
A quick tip: When you submit this edit to change the road’s priority or alignment, always make sure to use the ‘Add a note’ section. Explain clearly that the current highlighted path is unofficial and forces a long detour. If you can provide a link to an official local map or explain the ground reality in that note, it helps the automated system and Google reviewers approve your edit much faster!
I really hope your edit gets approved quickly so everyone can navigate to Pembelik Köyü easily! Keep up the great work! ![]()

Az önce bir başvuru daha yaptım. Umarım değerlendirmeye alınır.
Hello @fenadir ,
I do agree, find the right path in rural areas using any navigation system doesn’t mean that you will find the best route.
I spent some time looking at this are (Pembelik, 36.83294135453716, 32.06622551633682) and, to me, there is really few thing you can do / modify.
I saw that you and @Ayaanali are approaching roads editing and maybe have already submit some edits that will be approved in weeks.
Actually you both are at 0 roads added.
In case like this one there is nothing you can do. Google maps simply choose the best (for him) solution and propose an alternative.
There are NO other roads to add (close to this area)
When you select a road (like I did) you can also add some extra edit like “Traffic Direction”.
In this case, if approved, you can have an impact in the “route” due to this one-way you apply.
From my experience , with circa 150.000 roads added, I can tell you that I was able to add really few “direction change” and less were approved.
Please let me know if I can help you in any way and, as @JanVanHaver (thank you for tagging me Jan) said, in future always mention the exact location and what you want achieve or facing.
Btw, what about joining the TRAC team? A group of fellow Local Guide enthusiast for roads editing.
Take care
Marco
