Located in the mountainous region of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil the São Joaquin National Park has 49,800 hectares and covers the municipalities of Urubici, Bom Jardim da Serra, Orleans, and Grão Pará. In Urubici you can access one of the main attractions of the park: the Pedra Furada.

Pedra Furada is a geological formation located at the top of the Morro da Igreja, you can access the Pedra Furada by car or there is also a trail that leads to the vicinity of Pedra Furada.
