In the east of Taipei lies a number of old towns (九份) and it is known for their peanut ice cream (花生冰激凌). It is composed of peanuts, spring onions, and ice cream envelop with a spring roll wrapper. From my first bite until the last, I never felt so satisfied as the peanuts were exploding with a distinct taste of sweet and salty and their ice cream was very flavorful. And oh, by the way, it only cost around a dollar!
I opted out the spring onions because I’m not fond of adding greens to this sweet tasty treat.
