Sky Full of Kites & One Shark After Me!
I just attended the Pattaya International Kite Festival 2026, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The beach was alive with colors, creativity, and joyful energy. Giant kites of all shapes and characters filled the sky, making it feel like a flying art gallery above the ocean.
The highlight for me was the massive shark kite floating right above — it honestly looked like it was laughing at me! For a moment, I felt like the shark chose me as its “beach target.” Luckily, it stayed in the sky and didn’t come down for a selfie bite 
The event was very well organized, with plenty of space to walk around, enjoy the sea breeze, take photos, and simply relax. Families, tourists, and solo visitors were all enjoying the cheerful atmosphere. It’s one of those events that brings out the child in you.
If you’re in Pattaya during the festival, don’t miss it. Just be ready — you might find a giant shark smiling down at you too!
