This is a snap when we wait for the sun to come up in the early morning through the Mist. It’s a nice atmosphere as you can see we are docked in middle of the misty rock, and there are no waves.
Sometimes It gives us the creeps of a Godzilla or King Kong is gona come out of nowhere. For your information heard that the movie Kong Island is filmed within these rocks and islands of Halong Bay. Hope someone can confirm this.

Yes this more of a bay than a sea, and there are many cruise ships like this gets parked for the night and wait for to see the Sun Rise.

@Batzee thank you for sharing such a beautiful pic. The skull island was filmed in Ninh Binh where the inland Ha Long is. It ls like an inland version of Ha Long bay. Both are breathtaking. Cheers
