Good day Google and Local Guides Connect.
Please I’ll like to suggest that Information on Google maps, should be password enabled so as to make it impossible to delete content (photos, Videos etc) on Google maps without a password.
That’s to say, anytime one wants to delete his/her photos and videos etc on Google maps, password should be required!
I also suggest that the password required, should be the one on our Google accounts!
Thank You The Google Team.

Hi @Bright111
This is how Google Maps works today. Users can not delete their photos and reviews without being logged in to their Google account.
Did your suggestion pertain to the actions of the spam filter?

Hi @Bright111
Please refrain from posting the same content more than once.
I have merged your two posts into one.

No, not partaining to the Actions of the spam filter.
I just observed that most people including myself do not log out of their Google accounts (Map, Gmail etc), on the phones.
This means that with the right phone security password, patterns etc. information on Google Maps (photos and videos etc) can be deleted without the Knowledge of the account holder!
So my question now is, what kind of security features can be put in place to avoid this? Also, can Google set up a security feature that will require Google account password to be entered, before photos and videos on maps can be deleted?
Thank you, the Google Team.

Okay, now I understand what you wanted, @Bright111
Have you considered to use the device security for this? I use the fingerprint sensor on my phone to prevent unwanted access to my Google accounts. It can also be a pin code required to open a phone. Or face recognition.

Ok, I’ll add more security features to my phone then.
And finally, Google should consider setting up password security to prevent mistaken deletes and unauthorized deletes!
Thank you

This is not necessary @Bright111 as your Google Account already secures your Maps content. If you leave your Google Account logged in on an unlocked device then that is your issue, not that of Maps. You need to look after your own data security.
