πŸͺ‚ Paragliding at Southside beach near Torquay along Great Ocean Road 🌊

When I arrived in Australia, I had a chance to go with my friend to one of his paragliding adventure near Melbourne. Because of circumstance, I had to get a car. As someone who has never drove before, ever, I got my learner permit and needed to practice. My friend suggested that I drive them this beach where they were going to paraglide. I would get to practice my driving with him and they get a ride.

It was one of the best drive I ever did that year. I had never been on β€œThe great ocean road drive”, driving there was just an amazing experience. Since then I have gone to Great ocean road drive so many times and every time we find a new place along the road.

For how long did you drive?

@Ale_003 We drove for about one and half hour to reach southside beach.

But the actual Great ocean road drive, all the way to end, is 243km. Hard to finish in a day.

Hi @sparekh,

Thanks for sharing this amazing experience with us! Paragliding is something I always wanted to do but I never tried. Did you try it too? It looks so difficult to me. One day I will find the necessary courage and I will fly like your friend did. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you want, you can take a look at this post, where I hope you will find useful tips: How to convey size and scale in your photos.

@sparekh Wow, you live in the one of the most beautiful spots in our Planet!

I want to visit this beautiful continent one day.

For how long do you live there now?

P.S. one day when you will be hungry for the adrenaline you probably do it

@VickyfromUkraine indeed. Australia is beautiful. You should definitely plan a visit once me day.

I have been living here from last 4 years.

And living in this quarantine, I feel like I should have done paragliding then.

Hi @sparekh

Paragliding is so cool! And your photos are amazing. What a great place to do it at. I did that once a long time ago and I wasn’t so lucky to be by the sea, but it was still magnificent.

I was really scared at the beginning that I’d fall, because it was so strange, but it was really cool afterwards.

Would you do it again? :slightly_smiling_face:
