Panchgani Diaries - Episode 3 - Visit to Mapro Garden.

Further to my visit to Parsi Point which is shared in my previous post, Panchgani Diaries - Episode 2 - Sunset at Parsi Point, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Mapro Garden, a mesmerizing haven nestled in the picturesque hills of Panchgani, Maharashtra, India. Known for delightful fruit products, and captivating surroundings, Mapro Garden proved to be a delightful destination for both nature enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Allow me to take you on a virtual journey through my unforgettable visit to this enchanting garden.

Introduction: Mapro is a food processing company that was founded in 1959 by Mr. Kishore Vora. They have commissioned this garden specially for Tourists and sell their product. It was great to know that Mapro has 489 Women Employees, 90% of the total employees are local residents. They use 70% sustainable energy to process their products. You can view their manufacturing process by viewing the gallery arranged at different locations in the Garden. They are mainly into Syrups, Jams & Spreads, Mixers, Fruit Chews, Snacks, Chocolates etc.

Embracing Nature’s Bounty: As I stepped into Mapro Garden, I was immediately captivated by the breathtaking beauty that surrounded me. Acres of vibrant strawberry fields stretched out before my eyes, showcasing the bountiful harvest of these luscious fruits. The sight of the bright red berries glistening in the sunlight was a treat for both my eyes and taste buds. Though I could not publish the photos of Strawberry fields as some of the photos from my phone were deleted accidentally which were also not backed up.

Scenic Walks and Fragrant Gardens: Mapro Garden not only offers an abundance of delicious fruits but also boasts meticulously manicured gardens that provide a tranquil escape. Taking leisurely strolls along the meandering paths, I was enchanted by the aromatic fragrances that permeated the air. The garden’s impeccable landscaping, adorned with colorful flowers and lush greenery, created a serene ambiance that transported me to a world of natural bliss.

Delectable Culinary Delights: One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in the delectable array of culinary delights available at Mapro Garden. The garden houses a charming café where visitors can savor a wide range of strawberry-based treats. From fresh strawberry milkshakes to mouthwatering ice creams and delectable desserts, each bite was a burst of fruity goodness. The flavors were not only exquisite but also highlighted the freshness and quality of the strawberries grown at the garden.

Mapro’s Delicious Creations: The visit to Mapro Garden would not be complete without exploring their delightful fruit products. A visit to the fruit processing factory allowed me to witness the intricate process of converting freshly picked fruits into a variety of jams, jellies, and preserves. The aroma of the fruit-filled rooms was intoxicating, and I couldn’t resist picking up a few jars of my favorite flavors as souvenirs to savor the Mapro experience long after my visit.

Entertainment and Activities: Apart from its natural beauty and gastronomic delights, Mapro Garden offers various activities to engage visitors. Families can enjoy a picnic amidst the serene surroundings, with ample seating areas provided. Additionally, there is a play area for children that adds an element of fun and excitement to the overall experience.

Very nice post @Rohan10 . Mapro is all time favorite place when I get chance to visit Mahabaleshwar.

The sandwiches are too yum at Mapro. Although I am not a big fan of milkshakes or strawberries The preparation of beverage or ice cream looks delicious.

Thanks for bringing this unique spot to connect platform.

Thank you for your kind words @Smita_Patil ! It’s great to hear that you enjoy spending time at Mapro and the sandwiches are a hit among guests. We were about to try Sandwiches but we were all done with Pizza and Ice Cream so we didn’t order sandwiches. But later we felt that we should have tried sandwiches. But surely we will try next time. Thanks again. It’s my pleasure to share such a place here with global LGs.
