Panchgani Diaries - Episode 2 - Sunset at Parsi Point.

Welcome to my second episode of Panchgani Diaries. After my first episode of My Visit to Bhilar, the unique village of Books I am now going to share the sunset experience at Parsi Point.

Amazing Parsi Point – a place of breathtaking beauty, located in the heart of Panchgani. Parsi Point overlooks the majestic Krishna Valley and has been a favorite destination for tourists for generations.

On a clear day, you can see the vast expanse of the rolling hills, lined with lush green trees, extending onto the horizon. The air is fresh and clean, giving you a sense of peace and contentment that only nature can give. The breathtaking view of the valley and the nearby Dhom lake makes it the perfect spot for photography enthusiasts. Flocks of brightly colored birds fly by, providing a beautiful backdrop to any shots. But the main attraction here is the sunrise and the sunset - a panoramic view that never fails to enthrall one and all.

No matter what the time of day, Parsi Point is an invigorating experience. Whether it’s lounging on the bench, watching the world go by or stargazing late at night, the serenity of this place is sure to calm your mind.

The orange sky made it look like a painting, with the beautiful Western Ghats in the background, twinkling stars in the night sky and cool breeze. Watching the sun set over the hills was a magical experience beyond words.

We decided to stay there until the sun went down. We sat on the edge of the cliff, watching the sky slowly turn darker and darker until it became pitch black! Sitting there, with family, with nothing but the sound of nature, was an incredible experience. We also had the roasted Corn with spices on it and it was the perfect munching moment.

As the sun set, I was peaceful for me. The day’s worries had melted away, and I felt a sense of calmness, the kind that comes with the nature has so much blessed us. As we walked away, we had a big smile on our face and we can hardly wait to come back next time to experience it again.
