Panche Baja (पञ्चे बाजा) is a set of five traditional Nepali musical instrument that is played during auspicious social occasions mainly in marriage . The bajas include Jhyali aka cymbals , Tyamko aka small kettledrum , Dholak aka drums , Damaha aka large kettledrum , Narsingha aka long C-shaped trumpet and Sahanai aka folk oboe. Dholak is alternative to Tyamko. The musical players tune the tone with any old or recent music . Usually they are played by the Damai and the Gaine castes in the Hindu tradition. One who wishes to see those musical instruments can visit MUSIC MUSEUM OF NEPAL in Tripureshwor , Kathmandu .
