In less than a day after arrival I had spotted Bangalore’s famed Pink Tabeubia in December 2019. Tabeubia rosea is its scientific name and it is also called pink poui or rosy trumpet tree. These trumpet shaped flowers on leafless trees are borne in clumps and are an amazing sight. Most picture books on Bangalore feature this pretty flower. It is a sight to behold and difficult to click if against the sunlight. They look regal with the background of stately architecture such as that of the Karnataka High Court.
