Paharpur Buddhist Monastery in Naogaon district!

Hello local guide, greetings to all local guides. I have decided to physically visit the architectural works on the banknotes with pictures of Bangladeshi architecture and try to understand their importance, In-Sha-Allah. The first part in this series -
‘Paharpur Buddhist Monastery’ located in Badalgachhi Upazila of Naogaon District, which is on the 20 Taka note.

You will get a detailed description in each picture,

How to go: You have to come to Joypurhat from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Now you can go to Paharpur Buddhist Monastery by train or bus from Joypurhat. Now you can go to Paharpur Buddhist Monastery by auto rickshaw or CNG.

Entry rules: To enter here, you have to take a ticket from the counter, which costs 30 Taka for Bangladeshi visitors, and for tourists from outside the country, the entry fee is 200 Taka.

Besides, there is a museum inside it, you have to take a separate ticket to enter, which costs 20 Taka.

After entering, we travel inside on foot. There is no access for the disabled here, not even a wheelchair access.

Entry schedule: It is closed all day on Sunday and Monday morning. It is also open from 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM every day.

Finally, we had lemon sharbat at a mobile restaurant here while looking for some food to relieve our tiredness.
