I have a question regarding outdated Street View imagery and Map data.

In many rapidly developing areas, Google uploaded 360-degree Street View and road maps some time ago. However, new buildings, shops, and roads are being constructed every day. When users view the current Street View, the old imagery makes it confusing to navigate or recognize places.

My questions to the community and team are:

Are there any upcoming updates or tools for Local Guides to request or contribute updated Street View imagery for rapidly changing neighborhoods?

What are the best practices for Local Guides to keep location details accurate when Street View imagery is outdated?

Is there a way to notify Google about specific areas that need fresh 360-degree coverage?

@Ramsk Google does not accept requests for updates of Street View imagery. The frequency of Street View imagery updates varies depending on the location. In general, it takes Google 1 to 3 years to update Street View imagery for a particular area. If you believe that the street view images for your area are outdated, you to fill out the request information on this form. It is important to note that Google cannot guarantee a specific timeline for these updates.
