Orange - a healthy all-purpose fruit - My Recipes

A Kg of orange cost more or less 1.5 €, @AdamGT , while the patience is priceless (although I would like to be paid separately for the amount of “patience” I often have to use, especially in my work)

The name “Arancello” originates from the name of the fruit, which in Italian is “Arancia”, blended with the name of the famous liqueur made with lemons: Limoncello

Here we are with the final steps, @DeniGu

Things to consider for preparing the syrup, in order to obtain the correct dilution (in therm of alcohol percentage):

  • Total volume of the syrup = volume of the water + weigh of the sugar
  • Total volume of Arancello = volume of the alcoholic solution + volume of the syrup

As you can see, the color change a lot when you add the syrup to the alcoholic solution

After that, it is only fun

I love to make a label for the bottle :slightly_smiling_face: here below is the label for this year

I love the bright yellow color of the arancello, @ErmesT . Thank you for the final instructions, I’ll get back to them in a couple of weeks and hopefully, I can share a photo of equally beautiful bottles.

Fantastic design of this year’s label and so personal, too! Do you keep one label from each year as a memory?

Haha, @uavalentine

Let me inform @AntonellaGr . We will have to start to work on it soon with a big production, to have enough arancello for October.

Maybe @FrancescoRedi wants to try a version of tiramisu with arancello (but I think this would really be too much far away from the original recipe).

What do you think, @SoniaK ?

Dear @ErmesT it’s not a problem. We allow a “creative” category, because innovation is important. Please, if you ever make an arancello tiramisu, send us picture and recipe and assure yourself the taste is balanced :slightly_smiling_face:
Looking forward to tasting it

Hahaha…tiramisu with arancello, sounds like a perfect pair. Even though I have no idea how arancello tastes like. Is it close to red/ white wine or prosecco? Since it has orange in it, and tiramisu has this chocolaty texture, they two sure will get along. That’s what I think @ErmesT . Btw, I tried the original recipe from Le Beccherie the other day. It actually tasted far better than what I made initially. Of course, I didn’t use any alcohol in it, as the original recipe said, and I used egg yolk, instead of heavy cream. Next time I want to try making it with some orange too, as @Giu_DiB suggested. Will let you know how it turns out.

Dear @ErmesT

Thank you so much for mention me in your post.

The post is excellent!!!

I would like to say Italian cuisine is perfect.! :+1: Some dishes so delicious!

Pizza, pasta, risotto and many others, which is so famous and popular in the world. Best of of all I like risotto after visiting Traviso and exotic radicchio!

Thanks God, radicchio is in Moscow now!

Tomorrow my birthday and my daughters and I are going to visit Italian restaurant and taste delicious Italian food -risotto, pasta, teramisy, panna cotta.

Sure, I can not forget to say some words about tasty drinks such as Limonchello, Prossecco.

I try Limonchello at the first time in…San Marino.

I enjoyed Prossecco in villa Sandi and Treviso during unforgettable MeetUp, thanks to Antonella.

In this post you write about Aranchello–it is great! :+1:

It is simple and tasty. I try to prepare.

Most of all, the offer to meet the next one in Treviso sounds tempting and it would be great to drink this wonderful drink! I would like our borders to be open by autumn and I could visit Italy again.

Our ladies sometimes made Limonchello at home.We love it.

Thanks for your excellent posts and recipe.

Best wishes from Moscow,

Inna
