Local Guides Summit or Connect Live whatever the name is called is not a matter but its dream event for all Local Guides. I applied for the fourth time. I attended the Google Local Guides Summit 2017. In 2017, when I got an email to be selected, i can’t explain my happiness by few words. Sometime few happiness can’t express. After some time my wife @SumaiyaZafrin said that she also got selected for 2nd time. Instantly we just made a jump.

I think everybody is waiting like me for a post from @TraciC that Get ready for Connect Live and Connect Live applications are now open.

Application open means festival started, excitement to stat. Application video, Connect post, list so many thing need to do. All Local Guides super active. I feel this like when i went my village for Eid festival celebration. After selection than new excitement who is going to attend.

During summit i try to visit Local Guides official social channels to know what new updates are coming. Than waiting for photos, videos and connect posts from Googlers and Local Guides.

Few hours ago application process done, now waiting for next who is going to be selected. Best of luck for all applicants.

I am feeling not that much excited this year,and there is a reason. Last 3 times I got selected and did not get visa. I feel SORRY for me. At that time I also happy and proud for @PavelSarwar , because he was there and I felt like I am also the spot. At the same time I also feel happy when I thought wow 3 times I got selected in Local Guides Summit, I feel proud to be a local guide always. If from google local guides officially send the invitation letter directly to US embassy, they will confirm from earlier and I think this will be more easier for us who did not get visa earlier. This is my humble request to @TraciC to support them who will be selected from any country, like- Bangladesh, Nepal etc.
